Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) is going to take the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 shot on the 1st of April. 

Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy would take one of the two India made COVID-19 vaccine shots at the 140th ward Sachivalayam in Bharat Pet, Guntur. With this, there would be a vaccination centre in the village and ward secretariat of Bharat Pet, Guntur district. The decision to provide vaccination centres in ward and village secretariats was taken to cover the maximum population with the vaccination of the Novel Coronavirus.

In addition, The health department had asked the district collectors to launch the vaccination drive at select secretariats in both rural and urban areas on a pilot basis and extend the similar facility to as many secretariats as possible in the next few weeks.

Later, the Andhra Pradesh CM would address the Sachivalayam employees and doctors. He would leave for Sachivalayam at 10:30 A.M., and would return at 12:35 P.M.

He would spend close to 45 minutes in the ward secretariat. Rajya Sabha member Mopidevi Venkata Ramana, Mayor Kavati Manohar Naidu, deputy mayor Diamond Babu, municipal commissioner C. Anuradha and senior officials visited the ward secretariat on the 29th of March and inspected the arrangements.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh is witnessing a rise in the COVID-19 cases. In the last 24 hours, the State reported more than 900 new COVID-19 cases.

In order to control the spread of the virus and maintain awareness, the State Government imposed strict guidelines and hefty fines.
