Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) on the 30th of November, Tuesday, announced full fee reimbursement to the students under the ‘Jagananna Vidya Deevena’ scheme.

On the 30th of November, Tuesday, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government released Rs. 686 crores. The amount would be deposited directly to the bank accounts of all 11.03 lakh eligible students. With this, the A.P., Government under the leadership of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, released the third tranche (2021-2022) of the scheme.

The first installment of the 2021-2022 scheme was deposited in April 2021, followed by the second tranche in July 2021.

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “The number of students enrolling in colleges for higher education has increased.”

Meanwhile, the YSRCP Government so far released a total of Rs. 6,259 crores under the Jagananna Vidya Deevana scheme. In addition, the Education Department of Andhra Pradesh released a total of Rs. 34,753.17 crore wason 1,97,38,694 students under various education schemes.
