Tammineni Sitarama, the Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Assembly, on the 25th of July, suspended 4 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)

Mr. Sitaram suspended Ashok, Ganesh Kumar, Ramakrishna and Veeranjaneya Swamy for one day, as they were creating a disturbance during the ongoing Budget  Session at the Assembly.

Soon after the MLAs were suspension, the remaining MLAs of the TDP staged a protest and walked out of the Assembly. They said the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) MLAs are not allowing them to speak in the House, due to which they walked out.

This is not the first time the TDP MLAs has been suspended from the House.

Recently, Kona Raghupathi, the Deputy Speaker of the AP Assembly, suspended Atchannaidu, Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary and Nimmala Rama Naidu from the rest of the session.

The Budget session of the AP Assembly started from the 11th of July and will continue till the 31st of July.
