Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) on the 22nd of March, filed his nomination to contest the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.

Jagan Mohan Reddy reached the Returning Officer’s (RO) office in the Pulivendula constituency and submitted his nomination papers.

Reddy, on the 17th of March, announced, he will contest the upcoming Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections in Pulivendula. The YSRCP also released the final list of the candidates who will represent the Party in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections, scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting the elections are the JanaSena Party, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the YSRCP.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
