On the 12th of July, Wednesday, the Amaravati Meteorological Department predicted moderate to light rainfall in the Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh.

On Wednesday, the weather department said that the surface circulation formed over Southwest Bay of Bengal in the North Tamil Nadu coast is currently continuing over Southwest Bay of Bengal at a height of 4.5 km above sea level.  This is a major reason that the Telugu State of Telangana would witness a light to moderate rainfall for the next two days, the 13th -the 15th of July.

According to the weather department, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at many places over North Coastal Andhra and Yanam today and tomorrow, the 12th and the 13th of July.  Also heavy rains may occur in one or two places with thunder and lightning. 

Furthermore, there is a chance of light to moderate rains at many places on Friday, the 14th of July. As for South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, light to moderate rains or thundershowers at few places and heavy rains at one or two places are possible for the next two days.

Meanwhile, the weather department asked the people to be cautious and avoid venturing out in the rain, if not necessary.
