RRR director Mr. S.S. Rajamouli is scheduled to meet the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The meeting with the Andhra Pradesh CM is likely to be held ahead of the release of the most awaited film of 2022 RRR, on the 25th of March.  It is known that SS Rajamouli’s most-awaited movie RRR is all set to release on 25th March in theaters worldwide. 

According to sources, the reason behind the meeting is the recently announced new movie ticket prices, issued by the Andhra Pradesh Government.  Recently, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) announced new revised movie tickets for multiplexes, theaters and cinema halls across the State.  The Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Government also issued a Government Order (GO) regarding the same.

In regard to the movie ticket prices discussion, the director and producer of RRR, Mr. S.S. Rajamouli and Mr. D.V.V. Danayya, would meet Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy soon.  It is to be noted, as per the GO, hike in the movie tickets are allowed only if even  20% of  the shooting has been done in Andhra Pradesh, which is not applicable in RRR, as most of the shooting has been done already, ruling out this criteria. 

The movie, which is set to release over 6,000 screens across the world, has high expectations from audiences as well as in terms of box office collection.  Being a magnum opus, there are many expectations on it as it has an ensemble cast of Ram Charan, Junior NTR, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ajay Devgn, Shriya and Samuthrakani.

Mr. S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR is a pan India film set to release with a big budget in different languages including Telugu and Hindi.  Fans are waiting for the big movie to release on Pongal (February 2022.) 

RRR is said to be a period action drama film, based on two Indian freedom fighters against the British.  It is a fictional story set in the pre-independence era (1920) and based on the lives of two well known revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

While the editing is by Sreekar Prasad, the film’s cinematography is by K.K.Senthil Kumar.
