In Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam, a major mishap was averted at Rushikonda beach.  On the evening of the 3oth of July, Sunday, a tourist boat overturned, creating panic amongst people. 

However, the quick action and measures taken by the officials present at the spot, averted a major tragedy.  Fortunately, the boat driver also was active and saved the two passengers on the boat, who were wearing life jackets. 

The survivors are Ravi and Suresh from Pendurthi and Madhurawada areas.  Furthermore, the concerned authorities are now investigating the cause of the overturning to enhance safety measures and avoid such incidents in the future.
