The East Godavari visit of Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) turned chaotic, after a clash with the police.

On the 6th of May, Saturday, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited S.Muppavaram in Chagallu Mandal, East Godavari district, where he experienced a tense encounter with local police.  His visit was a part of an initiative to extend support to the farmers of the regiohn, who lost their crops due to heavy rainfall in the Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh.  During an interaction with the farmers, the police attempted to hasten the convoy of Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, leading to a heated exchange between the officers and the TDP supporters.

During the confrontation, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu strongly criticized the police force’s handling of the situation. The TDP supporters voiced their discontent by shouting slogans against the police, accusing them of mistreatment and insensitivity to the farmers’ concerns.

Meanwhile, the TDP supporters and leaders alleged the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government, for using the police force as a puppet to harass the opposition.  Furthermore, Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu urged Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, to look into the problems of the farmers, who lost their crops due to rain and provide an assistance.
