The Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh, in India,  is amongst the top 5 states fully vaccinated against the Wuhan virus (COVID-19.)  As per the vaccination data, Kerala topped the list and became the number one State with the maximum number of vaccinated people.

After Kerala (36%,) Gujarat is on the list with 35.50 % vaccinated people, followed by Delhi (34%,) Jammu and Kashmir (33.30%) and Andhra Pradesh (30.5 %.) 

Highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s vaccination data, the State Health Department administered COVID-19 vaccination doses to 3 crore people between 18 to 44 years of age.  There is a total of 3.47 crore population of people belonging to the 18-44 year age group.  In addition, of the 3 crore vaccinated people, 1.66 crore people received both the doses of the Wuhan virus vaccine.  Besides the people of 18-44 years age group, female, mothers of five year old children and senior citizens of Andhra Pradesh, also received their doses of COVID-19 vaccine. 

Meanwhile, with the constant efforts of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government, Andhra Pradesh, controlled the COVID-19 situation and reported below 400 new cases.  In the past 24 hours, the State reported the lowest, 332 new cases, taking the total tally to 2,060,804.  Of the total, there are only 5,705 active cases.  In addition, there are 14,313 deceased cases and 2,040,782 recovered cases. 

In India, a total of 20.30 % of the population are fully vaccinated against the Wuhan virus, with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
