After Y.S. Sharmila, the President of the YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP,) her mother Y.S. Vijayamma also slapped a lady constable.

On the 24th of April, Ms. Y.S. Vijayamma, who visited Hyderabad Police Station to meet her daughter, who was detained earlier, slapped a constable, when she stopped her from going to the police station.  She even had an argument with the police when some police women tried to forcibly make her sit in her vehicle.  Finally, after the ruckus, the police personnel succeeded in pushing her back into the vehicle and sending back to her residence. 

It is to be noted, Ms. Y.S. Sharmila was arrested after she staged a protest against the recent Telangana State Public Service Council Examination Paper Leak Case, demanding Justice for students.  However, the Police stopped her and detained her for holding the protest without police permission.
