The Telangana High Court (HC) gets additional 10 new judges, taking the overall tally to 29.
Notably, on the 22nd of March, Tuesday, the President of India Mr. Ram Nath Kovind approved the appointment of 10 new judges. As of now, there are 19 judges at the Telangana High Court (HC.)
According to sources, there are 42 sanctioned seats for the Telangana High Court judges, of which, only 29 are now filled. With this, a total of 13 judges seats are vacant at the Telangana High Court.
Furthermore, the newly appointed judges are likely to take oath at the high court premises on Thursday, the 24th of March.
The newly appointed judges of the Telangana High Court are: Mr. K Surender, Mr. Surepalli Nanda, Mr. Mummineni Sudheer Kumar, Mr. Juvvadi Sridevi Natcharaju, Mr. Shravan Kumar Venkat, Mr. Gunnu Anupama Chakravarthy, Mr. Maturi Girija Priyadarshini, Mr. Sambasivarao Naidu, Mr. Anugu Santosh Reddy and Dr. Devaraju Nagarjun.
