In the wake of the festive season and additional buses operations, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Managing Director carried out an inspection.
On the 14th of October, Mr. V.C. Sajjanar, the MD of the TSRC, visited TSRTC bus depots and inspected the bus stations.
During the inspection, Mr. V.C. Sajjanar interacted with the drivers, conductors and passengers of the district buses. He further asked the passengers to look for depot managers in case of any issues and collected their feedback, especially regarding the bus services during the festive season of Dussehra.
However, of all the bus stations, the major focus was on the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS.) Many complaints regarding excess charging of products available on the stalls were reported by passengers.
During the visit, the MD of the TSRTC not only assured bus services, but also asked stalls not to charge more than MRP on edible items.
It is to be noted, from the 8th of October, a total of 4,035 additional buses are being operated and would continue till the 15th of October, Dussehra.
