Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished Congress President Rahul Gandhi on his 48th birthday. PM Modi also wished for Gandhi’s long and healthy life.
Hours after Gandhi attacked Modi over the AAP issue, the PM tweeted, “Birthday greetings to Congress President Shri @RahulGandhi. I pray for his long and healthy life.”

Mr. Gandhi lashed out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Modi in a tweet. CM Kejriwal has been on a sit in protest at the Raj Niwas since the 11th of June. Along with Kejriwal cabinet ministers Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain and Gopal Rai joined the dharna.
The AAP is demanding directions to end the undeclared strike by IAS officers under the Delhi administration. The Court was hearing two petitions, one against Kejriwal’s dharna and the second against the alleged strike by the IAS officers.

The Congress party members began celebrating Gandhi’s birthday outside the party’s headquarters. The party members danced around the headquarters with drums as background music. Pictures of the President were plastered all over the headquarters as this is Gandhi’s first birthday as the Chief of Congress.
